Position Summary

BB Group is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Design Intern (Web & Mobile) to support the design and product experience across our digital platforms.

You will work closely under the supervision of the Lead UI/UX Designer and development team to design clean, intuitive, and modern user interfaces for both mobile and web platforms.

This internship is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, open to feedback, and ready to apply design principles in a real product environment.

High-performing interns may be considered for extended contracts or future full-time opportunities based on performance and company growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing user interfaces for mobile and web applications.
  • Support the development of mockups, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Help maintain and contribute to BB Group’s design system.
  • Work with developers to ensure proper implementation of designs.
  • Participate in user feedback reviews and help iterate on product improvements.
  • Contribute to landing page and campaign design when required.
  • Ensure visual consistency across BB Group projects.

Skills & Requirements

  • Proficiency in Figma (primary tool preferred).
  • Basic understanding of design systems and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with web/mobile UI standards.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus (not mandatory).
  • Strong attention to detail and modern design aesthetics.
  • Willingness to learn and take constructive feedback.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and marketing teams.
  • Interest in African technology and digital product innovation.

Minimum Education Qualification

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field OR certified UI/UX or web design training.
