Minimum Education Qualification:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field OR certified training in full-stack development
Position Summary
BB Group is seeking a motivated and technically capable Full-Stack Software Developer Intern to support the development and maintenance of our digital platforms.
You will work under the supervision of the Lead Developer and collaborate with the design and product teams to build, test, and improve features across web and mobile applications.
This internship is ideal for someone who is hungry to learn, willing to write real production-level code, and eager to grow within a fast-moving technology environment.
High-performing interns may be considered for extended contracts or future full-time opportunities based on performance and company growth.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist in developing and maintaining web and mobile applications.
– Write clean, structured, and well-documented code.
– Support front-end implementation of UI/UX designs.
– Assist with API integrations, database updates, and backend logic.
– Participate in testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
– Contribute to technical discussions and propose improvements.
– Follow development standards and version control practices.
Skills & Requirements
– Basic to intermediate experience with front-end tools (React, Next.js, or Vue).
– Familiarity with back-end frameworks (Node.js, Django, or Laravel).
– Understanding of databases (Firebase, Supabase, MongoDB, or SQL).
– Knowledge of GitHub or other version control systems.
– Familiarity with deployment platforms (Vercel, Netlify, or AWS) is a plus.
– Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn.
– Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
– Interest in building impactful African technology products.
